BUILDING THE TOWER AND SPIRE OF SALISBURY CATHEDRAL

An illustrated talk by Tim Tatton-Brown

Friday 19 November 2021 at 7.30pm

For Tim’s second Medieval Hall talk this year about the Cathedral, he will analyse the fabric of these huge structures, describe the building methods and, also, attempt to identify the main players in the instigation, financing and planning stages. There is no documentary evidence for this major project but Tim’s huge knowledge of the subject and research over many years may be regarded as authoritative.

Once again, Tim’s talk will be illustrated with some excellent line drawings by Jill Atherton and more stunning photographs by Dr John Crook.
